Some of you may or may not know that I've been developing a mobile app in my spare time on and off for a while now. It’s a poker game for Windows 10 devices with a view to port to iOS and Android if it proves popular.
It's called Poker Conquest, and if you're reading this, then it's finally been published into the windows app store.
Whilst I could have spent more time smoothing the edges and improving it, I decided that now is the right time to release it into the wild to gather feedback from real users. What will happen next is a frantic flurry of fixing of bugs that I'm sure the public will find.
The game is quite unique. The aim is to conquer the world by challenging and defeating the computer player in each country. There are 180 countries and only by defeating countries can you build your bankroll to challenge other countries and unlock other continents, picking up achievements along the way.
The app itself is free and whilst there are in app purchases in the game, I have no idea how popular or profitable the game is going to be. I am preparing myself for both positive and negative feedback. All feedback will be useful I'm sure.
I look forward to sharing download numbers with you over the upcoming months and if people do download the (free) game and like it, I would appreciate it if they would take the time to leave a positive rating. All feedback is welcomed.
Thanks to my wife whom has put up with countless evenings and weekends dedicated to making the game a reality.
I just hope people enjoy playing it as much as I have enjoyed creating it.
Oh, here's the link..
